Congrats on Alpha!

We had a *lot* coming together in a pretty back-end loaded schedule which made our run up to Alpha this year pretty challenging. THANK YOU for pushing hard over the last few weeks and getting us there early! Impressive how things landed with so much coming together for M2 and Alpha!

Also, big thanks to the people who fixed Alpha Hindering issues today along with QA who spent today testing!

Subject: Alpha Declaration - NHL 19 - Xbox One/PS4 - 4/21/2018

Based on QV’s review of NHL 19 Xbox One/PS4 platforms the product has met required EA standards necessary to qualify for an Alpha declaration on April 21st, 2018. The specific build version verified for each platform is as follows: CL 3248341 (Xbox One and PS4).

The NHL team has met or exceeded the expected Alpha targets for online & offline stability. The team has also met the required completion targets of our Career Mode play-through in both ‘Franchise’ & ‘Be A Pro’ modes. The NHL team has completed specific Alpha checklists which featured coverage throughout each feature area to ensure that the product is testable to the expected level essential for a predictable road to final.

This build meets the studio requirements for Alpha:
• All Alpha definitions have been completed or delivered
• All Alpha hindering issues have been addressed
• An agreed-upon delivery schedule for post-Alpha CRs and tuning tasks has been provided
• The game is 78% testable at Alpha as supported by the open for testing plan; the remaining 22% consist of the post Alpha delivery of Art and Audio assets on a defined delivery schedule
• Console manufacturer guidelines can be 100% executed
• Development, Production, and QV have signed off that the build is of Alpha quality

Alpha Exceptions:
• There are no Alpha exceptions to report

Find and Fix Metrics:
• There are 9 approved Post-Alpha CRs at this time that have been signed off by all stakeholders
• All known Post-Alpha development tasks have been identified and accounted for in the bug finaling capacity plan
• Development has fixed 18.3% (2153) of the estimated total bugs for the project (11738)
• QV has logged 39.4% (4633) of the estimated total bugs (11738) pre-Alpha
