He thinks humans are useless aside from their blood, he hates females because their blood tastes horrible and all they're good for is making more humans, so he often just tries to get into their pants and have his way with them before taking their blood and erasing their memory of him. He's never experienced love, never had friends, the only 'friend' he has is his pet snake Jewel. When he does talk to someone, most times he'll just be annoyed and try to get them away, but if they tale his interest, he'll act very kind and flirty to earn their trust.
