Literally everywhere I go in this city is a reminder of you, and that's a lot to handle. Maybe I should have just stopped talking to you after October or whenever I started pulling away. I didn't know how to tell you what was going through my head, and I didn't know how to not hurt you. I realize I've caused so much damage to your emotions, and I'm so sorry for that. If I could take it back and figure out some other way to do things, I would.
I want to respect your wish for me to fuck off, and I will, but it's hard, as you're the only person here who I feel any kind of connection with at all. Maybe I should work harder to have a social life, and just leave you to heal and forget me. Or maybe some part of me thinks that at least if you hate me, I'll stop hurting you.
Thank you for today, and for every time you've talked to me and made me smile. I appreciate what we've had, and I'll always be here if you want to talk.
