However, the owners of the factory benefit from Capitalism. The conditions at the factory are bad, however it is these same conditions that enable the factory to be run smoothly. The owners do not see the hardships that the employees go through and how it affects them physically and emotionally. Since this is the case, the owner's happiness is not affected negatively. Although the factory workers are negatively impacted, the overall population benefits from the production of the cars.
Aristotle = Ultimate happiness is the goal, however the reactions that these conditions bring are not making the workers happy. One could argue that if one wanted to run a good company you would have to keep your employees happy. The benefit that having happy employees brings are better than the ones the negative benefits bring. However as well, the money that the company brings also makes the owners happy.
Kant's moral theory = Actions do not matter based on morals but based on whether or not they get the job done.
Kant would argue that the regulations that the Ford company have in place are not harsh because they set standards for the employees to follow and it keeps the company running smoothly.
