Condoleezza Rice believes that the Arab-Israeli conflict can be resolved by getting Israel and Palestinians to come up with a peace compromise and that Palestinians should have their own place. she also believes that President Obama is making the situation worse and has had ongoing visits to Israel in the effort to make peace talks. Sadly not even this is enough for peace negotiations because both leaders are too divided and very weak also Palestinians extremists on Hamas reject the idea of peace finally there is not enough time to settle difficult problems. She also supports the Palestinians request on their own state believing it is vital for a peace agreement to be reached. Rice believes that there is still a lot of work to be done and that the U.S isn't getting any closer to this so called peace agreement. This also includes other Arab nations recognizing Israel as a country and in turn Israel acknowledging Palestinians. almost every time the U.S and Israel with Palestinians try to reach a deal the leader is assassinated by their own people so this is obviously another problem that is keeping them from reaching any peace compromises.
Another problem is borders. Both sides claim that Jerusalem is their capital. mixed in with that is the fact that many Jews live on settlements in the West Bank
