Harpy (harpies jamak, Yunani: ἅρπυια, harpyia, dilafalkan [hárpyi̯a]; Latin: harpȳia) adalah personifikasi setengah manusia dan setengah burung yang merupakan perfonifikasi dari angin badai. Penulis Romawi dan Bizantium merinci keburukan mereka digambarkan sebagai burung besar dengan kepala wanita yang berwajah cantik, sedangkan seni Pottery menggambarkan penampilan harpies adalah seorang wanita yang cantik bersayap.
Awalnya harpy adalah roh angin (personifikasi dari sifat angin yang merusak). Nama mereka berarti "penjambret" atau "perampok cepat" dan mereka mencuri makanan dari korban mereka saat mereka makan dan membawa penjahat (terutama mereka yang telah membunuh keluarga mereka) kepada Erinyes. Sejak saat itu, ketika seseorang atau sekelompok orang hilang dengan misterius selalu di hubung2kan dengan harpy.
