bio: despite having the disadvantage of growing up with little to no money, no father figure, a dysfunctional family, and an incredibly bad social influence... milagro always loved her life. she didn't have much, but what she had was enough. she had food, clothes on her back, a bed to sleep in at night, and the love and support of her friends and family, which was a lot more than what other kids were growing up with around this part of town. growing up in a city like East Los Angeles, it's easy to find natural talent, but in such a poverty-stricken community, it's hard it to be truly recognized and prospered. milagro's talent, specifically, was in singing and dancing. while she loved to sing, she felt as if dancing and performing was what she was born to do. milagro had been dancing ever since she learned to walk. she did ballet, step, tap, salsa- almost every category of dance there is.

However, one thing you might not know about milagro is her rough past. when milagro was only 13, she lost her father due to police brutality. her father had done absolutely nothing wrong, other than just being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Mr. Adrien Rico was preparing for milagro's birthday party, going to their local bakery to pick up milagro's birthday cake when the police were also just so happening to be searching for a man who had assaulted a young woman just days before. While Adrien looked nothing like the actual suspect, his black hoodie and his afro-latino features seemed to be convincing enough for the cops to arrest, attack and unfortunately end the life of milagro's father.

personality: After the wrongful death of her father, milagro's entire demeanor changed. She went from that cute , adorable shy girl to the sassy, uncontrollable, loud-mouthed bitch she is today. Milagro doesn't care about the rules. She doesn't go out of her way to break them, she has common decency and knows how to treat certain people. But when milagro wants something, she gets it. she never lets anything stop her. she's determined and sneaky, and sly and witty. milagro has no filter, she doesn't care who you are or if you're the president, if she has something to say, she'll say it, and she'll say it loud and clear for the whole world to hear. the only person milagro will never raise her voice to is her mother and abuelas, everyone else can 'suck it'. however, underneath all that crazy loco behavior, lays an insecure little bird, just like every other person. even milagro has a certain limit. she can handle a lot of bullshit, but sometimes it all just gets too much for her, and she sometimes finds herself in a deep depression where she just blocks out everyone out of her life and kind of loses her mind.

secret(s): she doesn't really have any secrets as she's pretty much an open book, but her past with her father is kind of embarrassing to her, especially in an environment like Boca Raton where not having a father figure is something out of the norm and kind of made fun of because of that stereotype?

other: (if you plan on making your character from east l.a, the characters will have all been expelled, or because there is a new principal that the parents don't like, and their parents transferred them here if that makes sense? and that's why people from east la are all suddenly flooding into boca raton if that makes sense?)
