Part time hours of employment in a local pub restaurant. Duties include:
Working as part of a team
running the bar and restaurant simultaneously in the day time on my own
setting up for event such as weddings and christenings
general waiting and bar staff duties plus making deserts.
The rising sun, Southampton March 2012- March 2013
Worked part time hours in this family run business, its a traditional pub with a restaurant which provides an a la carte menu. Duties include:
Working under high pressure environment within a team.
Waiting at events such as weddings.
Macdonald Botley park hotel April 2010 (work experience)
2 week full time work experience in conference and banqueting department of golf and spa hotel. duties included:
Setting up conferences, weddings and proms.

I currently attended University college Birmingham where i am in my fist year of a BA hospitality and business management degree.

Work experience:
The Railway Inn (Botley): July 2011- August 2013
I worked mainly as a waitress which includes working in the restaurant as well as being on the bar. I believe this shows I have the ability to work under pressure in a busy environment whilst maintaining a friendly manner when dealing with customers. It involves a high level of responsibility and requires excellent communication skills. This previous experience can be brought with me to future roles.

McDonald botley park hotel: 2 weeks work experience
I completed 2 weeks of work experience at McDonald Botley park Hotel in conference and banqueting; the role I performed varied and included event preparation, waitressing and looking after guests of the hotel. I found the experience hard work but rewarding and it gave me the appetite to work again in a similar environment
