"That blinding red banner flashing across along the beautiful orange sky adorned with small pearl-like clouds was the last thing I saw before falling into a deep slumber."

its now 3021, the year of futuristic technology has pretty much taken over primitive technology. Flying cars, holo-screens and keyboards floating everywhere, and overpopulation?
Seriously, I think at least 8% of the human population should die. The normal lifespans of a human are now more than a 100.

Goddamnit, scientists should stop finding cures for chronic diseases and ways to preserve life. it's killing the world.

"Oi," a familiar voice pokes into my mind, disrupting my useless thoughts.

"What is it, Remi?" I asked, in a monotonous voice. Remi is my good friend, well not really but without her, I would be forever alone so I thank her for that.

"You mind coming with me to hit on some boys?" She said in a quite flirty tone which made me scoff in return, especially when she was wearing some very idiotic clothing. I could not believe she could date a person with that kind of horrible clothing sense, I bet whoever who dates her has some mental illness.

"No, you know I hate those kinds of activities yet you still asked?" I said, trying to come off as nice as possible.

"Sorry. I thought you would have a change of mind, I guess I'll see you tomorrow?" She replied in an apologizing tone which sounded fake to me. Her face turning slightly evil-looking, but I didn't think of it much.

"I'll see you tomorrow then." walking away immediately after saying the statement. Thus, we parted ways.

coming outside the workplace, there was a floating mobile car waiting for me to sit on it and take me to my final destination, which is my house of course.

the car windows slowly but tightly shut its window after I got comfy in my seat, I looked out the transparent window. the sky was a beautiful orange color adorned with little, small white clouds. Looking at it made me feel peaceful and my eyelids started becoming heavy.

I almost slept but suddenly a deafening sound startled me and I looked around, not realizing what my fate would be.

A red warning started flashing and stretching across, going further than the edge of my sight. I tried getting opening the car's windows but was to no avail. It was getting more and more blinding to my eyes even though it was not getting any brighter. The sound of the engine signaling its end, and mine was getting increasingly louder. I assumed the situation that there was a defect in the engine.

It was paranoia, I knew I had no way of getting out anymore. Having no hopes left, I decided to look at the alluring sky. The orange sky was starting to turn purple, yet it blended perfectly with the dazzling red banner, which was stretching across the horizon. Shutting my eyes tightly, I had one last thought in mind, smiling creepily.

'That damn fox, I guess I'll be doing the earth a good cause then.'

After that, it was silent.
