I am a Production Engineer with strong database skills. My colleagues used to come to me when they want certain data from the database or the need some custom queries that summarized all the results. So I see myself bridging the gap between the developers and operational users. This was demonstrated in my last role with Entero. I get to use my industry experience and production engineering knowledge to help the developers and DBAs to set up the data requirements and standards. As the same time, I also worked closely with the end user to identify best practices. There was one particular task that I was really proud of. I created a one-liner comparison report for QA. This QA report highlighted the error percentage, variance, and type of errors. Both the developers and end users used this same report to improve the migration process. I think that was one of the key elements we successfully finished the project on-time.
I have been in many different roles within the industry, I found myself enjoy the most is to optimize and support the data flow. So, I am looking to apply my skills in an information provider like IHS.
