CPR on an infant is different from CPR on a child or an adult. Please read the steps below and follow them should you ever find yourself in a situation where you need them.
CPR on an Child and Adult:
**First off, if you are alone with a child or adult who is not breathing, perform CPR for 2 minutes and then call emergency services.**

Check the Scene
- Make sure it is safe for you to help.

Check the Victim
- Tap and shout to get response. Remember not to shake the victim. They might have a neck injury.

Call for Help
- If there are people around you, have them call emergency services. If no one is around you, then perform CPR for 2 minutes before calling yourself.
CPR Step C
Circulation
Place the heel of one hand in the center of the chest and your other hand on top of it (interlock your fingers).
Press chest down about 2 inches and give around 100 compressions a minute.

Airway
- Tilt their head back and lift chin up to open airway. You should make sure that nothing is in their mouth blocking the airway.

Breathing
- Pinch the victims nose closed and cover the victims mouth with yours. Breathe into their mouth until you see their chest rise. Do this twice at one second per breath.
**If breathing for the patient, you should give 2 rescue breaths after each group of 30 compressions. Remember to continue CPR until emergency services arrive. **
