Sandi ini sering juga disebut backward atau reverse. Cara memecahkannya dengan cara membalik kata seperti saat dihadapkan ke cermin.
Contoh : YGOLOTPYRC
Cara memecahkannya hanya tinggal membalik bacanya, dari belakang sehingga menjadi CRYPTOLOGY.

Termasuk sandi yang mudah karena di antara kata-kata yang disandikan, disisipkan kata-kata dalam bahasa inggris untuk sedikit mengecoh si pemecah sandi. Cara memecahkannya tinggal menghilangkan kata-kata dalam bahasa inggrisnya.
Contoh : BINLOROAREOCONEDEAR
Kata-kata yang dihilangkan adalah IN, OR, ARE, CONE, EAR sehingga menjadi BLOOD.
Karena kedua sandi ini tergolong mudah, tak jarang si pembuat soal membuat inovasi, yaitu menggabungkan keduanya.
Contoh : YINBITUARE RORSIS SAPPLEIROBE MOUR
Langkah pertama, hilangkan kata dalam bahasa inggrisnya. Setelah itu kita cerminkan kata yg tersisa.
