And this drafishfly decided to go get a drink of water because damn he was thirsty.
He walked over to the nearest spring but little did he know, it was the infamous love spring.
He took a long, long sip. That was lovely and refreshing! He decided. But as he looked up, his eyes met with a sight much more lovely and he felt it was love at first sight.
It was a siren, a lovely creature who lured male living beings to death with their songs.
However, this siren didn't even need to use her song- the drafishfly had drank from the love spring and he felt hopelessly drawn to her. He needed to go talk to her.
"Why, dear being, I would love to be your friend!" exclaimed the siren. She then grabbed the drafishfly and dragged him to a nearby sand pit.
The drafishfly was elated. But sitting in the sand pit, he felt as if something was wrong. Wasn't there something he was supposed to be doing around about now?
He attempted the act of remembering his possible action, but he was too much drawn to the siren. All of a sudden, the sand pit started to shift around and trap him, leaving only his head exposed. "Hee hee hee!" something shouted. Oh no. It was a sandman.
Besides him, the siren struggled in the sand. The sandman came closer, its clawed hands reaching for the two. The siren shook her head and opened her mouth. A pretty tune came out, making everybody pause in their step. The sandman began to shake and his body began to crumble. Soon he was just a pile of wet sand. Drafishfly didn't get it. Why wasn't he dead too?
The siren, suddenly empathetic, explained to the drafishfly that he was not made of sand. The drafishfly took note and decided to help them escape the sand. He got a bottle of door jam from his pack and opened the lid to make it ajar. Then he threw the jar of jam into the sand. The sand clumped together into a sand jam, and soon, most of the sand around the area was in one huge sand jam.
