-must be hit to opposite box
-when serving teams score is even, serve is on right, when odd, on the left
FAULTS
-birdie hits ground, out of bounds, is hit twice by same team, hit into net
-touching net with body or racquet
-touching birdie with any part of body
-serving out of order in the wrong spot
Lets
-obstruction
-player is not ready
-specific court rules
RESULT of LET: no change in score, reserve
WARNING: let has nothing to do with touching the top of the net
so even if it touches the net and goes in the right box, the serve counts
