Ramuan Polijus digunakan berkali-kali dalam peristiwa menjelang dan selama Perang Kedua dengan sihir. Ramuan ini juga memainkan peran penting dalam Harry Potter, Hermione Granger dan Ron Weasley investigasi dari Kamar Rahasia di tahun kedua mereka. Ini juga digunakan dalam komplotan Draco Malfoy untuk menyelundupkan Pelahap Maut ke Hogwarts pada tahun 1997. Serta dalam Perang Tujuh Potters, dan Penyusupan Harry, Ron dan Hermione dari Kementerian Sihir dan mereka istirahat-dalam dari Gringotts Bank Sihir pada tahun 1998. Jika kita kembali membahas tentang DNA, tolong diingat bahwa kita tidak boleh memasukkan DNA hewan pada ramuan Polyjuice karena akan berakibat fatal.
