I received a report from a neighbour at 8:40 pm reporting violence between a couple. I arrived at the Dubois' at nine o'clock in the evening. By the time I got there Lilou had left the house to stay with a friend and all the was left from the incident was the shattered vase. I talked to Mr. Dubois and he said that they'd had been married for two years and this is the first time the police have had to step in. Mr. Dubois admitted that he beets Lilou when they argue. Mr. Dubois said that she did not feel well after being injured and left to spend the night at a friends house. Mr. Dubois told me that when he came home he found that Ms. Dubois was speaking with a colleague through a video chat about work matters and he got angry because the colleague was a man. Mr. Dubois thought that Lilou was cheating on him. This resulted in the husband being very angry with his wife. Lilou Dubois was injured due to Mr. Dubois throwing a glass vase at Ms. Dubois which resulted in it shattering and cutting her cheek. I decided to arrest Mr. Dubois on the count of physical assault as well as domestic abuse.
