--- Motivation to work for wirecard ------

- Wirecard the leading financial and technology company in Germany. Its core business is into payment services, risk management ,
- I have already worked in Korea for over 4.5 years , i have gained very good insights about the customers, business ethics , ways to do business in Korea and Asian region.
At this point of time i want to leverage that experience and bring it back to Germany.
- Long Term commitment - Me and wife plan to stay in Germany for probably the rest of our lives, we have been married for over 3 years now and we plan to raise a family ..and we plan to do that in Europe - Also that my wife can speak German we she is also quite familiar with German working style and culture..
- I am very good at working in a multicultural work envirornment and collaborating with different teams and different departments, subject matter experts

- Talk about Engineering and then moved to Australia for masters and then Germany to do masters
- Did my masters in German , it was a hectic schedule ..

I have currently over 10.5 years of work experience. I have held several positions, I started as Software Engineer then Sr. Software Engineer / Business Analyst , then Sr.Business Analyst and now have done Project management for almost 5 years.

The reason I wanted to move towards project mgmtn - I strongly feel Project managers should not only have people management and project management skills but should have technical background or knowhow of how things work.. who lead the technical projects should have a been in the role of software engineering and experience on technical side only then they can understand the technical issues and possible solutions for those issues.

- Currently working as Sr.Business Analyst and Project Manager –
o Interacting with customers with worldwide and understanding the business needs and prioritizing them and handing it over the product engineering team
o I am leading a team of 10 members it a multi-cultural team and cross-functional team, out of which some were hired by me. So I handle 4 customers site spread out across EMEA region and Brazil. I have to collaborate with multi-cultural people across the world in different time zone.
o I’m the single point of contact for the customer , so in case of any issues or conflict , I’m responsible to take care of it. So I provide them with 2/3 level support. Organizing with field technicians to solve the issues etc..
o Most of are projects are timeboxed so we use both Scrum and Kanban approach for project management. Prior to this we have used Waterfall and typical SLDC approach. – Set up a open source system for the team to work on Scrum eg(Ice scrum etc… ), Worked on IBM RUP (rational unified process) also waterfall model..
o Coordinating the entire project form business perspective and to final delivery of the solution, which means planning the project, assigning work to team members, distributing the work load, at times training them and monitoring the project closely and give feedback and updates at CxO level. Eg: How to work with SVN , following the best practice (Developer to tester ratio etc.. ) and standards , im also involved in design and architecture decisions
o Finally once the product is ready , im responsible for commissing and entire roll out plan for the customers which includes thorough testing, staging the product and then into final production, making sure they have minimum down time
o One of my main tasks is to bring out new initiatives after understanding the existing solution, to improve the performance of the system – typically involving latest technology trends like (Big data, real time analytics , Virtualization , In memory data grid )
eloborate about QA process (setting up the entire QA process, from Peer-peer testing, integratoin testing, stress testing ..and monitoring the progress of the test results .. with the final requirement matrix... )


Talking about the M-commerce industry and mobile experience ..
- In 2001 korea was using Infrared technology with dedicted POS(Point of Sale) readers and smart chips storing mobile credit information(attached to the back of phone)…now in 20011 we used NFC replaced those chips… we provided TSM service to FirstData
o In charge of interacting with Clients form Google as we developed the Google wallet platform for them. Which is an m-commerce platform in partnership with Firstdata. (Interacting with MNO’s , Merchants and Financial institutions .. ) - Organizing the project, handling team members , gathering requirements ,
o Initiated and the concept of CEP engine for real time analytics on customer data..which is open source solution. So I was responsible for requirement elicitation , planning , scoping and monitoring the project. Additonal tasks included review benchmark test and performance testing of the newly developed platform. Then charting out the roll out strategy for the project.
o AT SK – I was responsible to handle the linux infrastructure , brought up and open source monitoring solution for entire data center
o Collaborating and Negotiating with the HW vendors , OEM vendors for the type of infascructure required. (Eg, right storage solution (SAN or NAS..)after data capacity forecasting , choosing the right servers etc..
o AT SK - Im also work in product development and Pre-sales of activity of new products in emerging markets after doing extensive market research on the market. Improving exiting product and customizing those products to sell them in markets.
o I was consulting Malaysia's largest telecom company ie.packet one on their infrascrtucute and mobile and billing solution

Since I have worked

• Responsible for dedicated customer projects from pre-sales until launch in close cooperation with the commercial project manager
• Planning, tracking and coordinating dedicated customer projects involving a wide range of different parties and systems both at Wirecard and on the customer side
• First point of contact for the customer together with the commercial project manager
• Coordination of customer setup and configuration within all Wirecard systems throughout all staging domains
• Coordination of testing activities across all partners, systems and domains including monitoring of progress
• Coordination of infrastructure setup across all partners, systems and domains including monitoring of progress

Your profile
• Several years of experience as technical project manager working in customer projects with very good knowledge in the launch of new technical consumer products
• Experience in project planning and tracking
• Experience in software configuration and datacenter projects
• Quick understanding of complex processes and analytical skills
• Team player with moderating skills able to find creative compromises
• Experience in Scrum for internal processes as well as Waterfall for external processes
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Enthusiasm for software and the payment industry
