It took me quite some time and thinking to put make this for you all. Surely it'll take you less time to read.

ROLES:

Every role has the right to send invites. And that is also your first job as an admin. (EVERYONE MUST Read Advertising Guidelines)

The roles will be divided like a top down pyramid:
- Least number of people as managers
- Most number of people as advertisers

There is an inverted pyramidal division of labour. The Manager having all powers (content creation, moderation and advertising) while advertisers and insight analysts having few (only advertising and analysis)

Contrary to what you might feel uptill now; advertising is more important than all other duties combined. Thus someone who is only advertising should understand that he is a highly significant part of our page.

GUIDELINES:

General (MUST READ):
- Pages become popular when it's content gets popular. Content gets popular when it gets likes, comments and shares (in increasing order of importance and decreasing order of magnitude ).
- The audience is volatile so we can't depend on them. However, as a team we can ensure some minimum
virality. All the admins must like, comment, share (in decreasing order of frequency) on most if not all posts as INDIVIDUALS and NOT THE AS THE PAGE.
- Identities of the admins is not to be revealed till we hit a milestone number of likes. Plus it's pretty lame if the audience knows it's the page owners who are the only active fans.
- Remember shares have a huge weight in publicity, followed by comments, followed by likes. By publicity I mean the chances of our post appearing on someone elses news feed.
- This doesn't mean you blatantly share on your timeline. Sharing it to specific people is more elegant and also ensures 1 likes and 1 comment.

Content Creation:
- Every post is considered content.
- This includes original content and links.
- Studies suggest photos and videos are the most viral and talked about content.
- Content should be preferably funny,short, smart and/or intresting. It can be a photo, article, rage comic, meme infographic, poll anything.
- Try to engage the audience in posts. Eg. Asking for opinions, starting debates.
- We need regular content but posted at the perfect frequency. Most popular pages have a post every 2-3 hours.
- However, these must be at peak hours. eg. Dont post b/w 3-8am.
- The content must be varied across different platforms. eg. Don't post only Game of Thrones related content on a single day.
- Similarly we dont need only photos in a day. Should be varied across photos, videos, polls
- Content needs to be popular and not a subject to any prejudice. eg. I like Star Wars more than Star Trek, but our first photo suggests otherwise.
- Try to focus on trending topics. eg. High budget summer movies during summer

Moderation:
- Pop Cult India as a page only needs to reply to comments directed towards us. The page dones't need to be a part of a conversation. However you as an individual should .
- Therefore any question must be answered and any compliments must be appreciated.
- No taking sides.
- Yet try to ignite dying discussions.

Advertising:
- While the traditional facebook page advertising means spending money to promote the page. WE ARE NOT DOING THAT.
- This is basically publicity and virality.
- Every admin sends invites to 2 broad categories of people:
1) Totally Into This: Make sure you don't miss these people. Who'll actually be interested in this , will like our content, comment and probably give us a share.
2) Who Dafuq Is This: These are the guys on your friends list you don't talk to anymore or otherwise. Sending and invite to them wont spoil your personal equation ( beacause you mutually don't care about them ). These people are very important for the virality
- Put the link of our page on the posts of other popular pages of our target demographic (Indians).
- Share our page link on generic groups ( societies, clubs, schools etc )
- Take out 5-10 minutes and send the invites at one go. This will save your time at the same time it will decrease chances of resending an invite to someone who might block us for spamming.
- MOST IMPORTANTLY find people who'll like to be a part of this and help improve our page and publicize it.You must forward there names to me. As manager only I can add new admins.
