hi my name is Shakira I would like to talk to you today about psychology

Psychology is the study of the mind and behaviour of a person . It is learning how to read the body language and facial expressions of people . You will also learn different ways of communication with all types of people. Psychology is not just working with people who suffer with psychotic disorders. It is working with people who have had a traumatic event or loss in their lives and can suffer from such things as disorders. This would be most common in soldiers who have been overseas in war thorn countries

It depends on the career Interest or specialty area is how long you will go to school for. Many psychology programs do not offer a terminal masters degree in psychology . In cases like that you will have to enrole in a program after earning your bachelors degree and then you will go on and spend up to 4-7 years working on your doctorate

There are different types of psychologists such as ;

Applied psychologists utilize psychological principles and research such as investigating which treatment approach is the most effective for reducing stress

Research psychologists conduct studies and experiments with human and animal participants just like

Mental health psychologists work with people suffering from mental health disorders or psychological distress. They often work in hospitals, mental health clinics, schools or private practices

There was a famous married couple who caught my eye their names are Kenneth and Mamie Clark they were husband and wife. They studied the effects of racism and segregation on the self esteem of African - American children. They also played roles in disapproving the belief that there was a mental difference between African America children and Caucasian children.

in 2012 Donegal won the all Irelands using a tactic the coach Jim MCGuinness used wrist band with aname if a loved 1 engraved into it so if they were feeling down or felt like giving up they looked at the wrist band and thought this is what I am playing for and it drove them to win in the end
