I have been charged more than double of what I was shown in the "ride estimate" though the ride was booked immediately after viewing the ride estimate. Please note that the route taken was the default one, neither was there some extra-ordinary delay due to traffic on route, nor was there any stop during the ride. Owing to the conditions I just mentioned, a variation of no more than 10% is expected, but I was charged even more than 200% of the "ride estimate". The estimate given was around Rs.138/- but the final bill was Rs.293/-. Such kind of surprises are really unexpected and those do affect the faith and goodwill of the customers, or atleast it affected me since this is the second time for me with such experience. Last time I was given a discounted price on requesting a "ride estimate" for using a coupon, but was charged in full (without discount) at the end of the ride though the coupon was applied. I had ignored this first incident, but now this was again a repeat which is unacceptable. I hope you would do right by me so that I am able to keep my trust and faith on Ola.
