If I were to be a serial killer, my signature weapon would be a garrote[1] made from a guitar string or something similar. My victims would all be politicians and I wouldn't contain myself to one region, I would be taking out corrupt politicians all across the world. Since most serial killers leave a signature at the scene I've also thought of one of those. Each body will have DNA from my next victim planted on them, in a manner so as to "frame" that next person. For the first one it might work but after that I expect they'll understand what is really happening and try to protect whoever's DNA is found. The grand finale would be leaving the presidents hair or something on a victim to make it appear as if I have made a threat to his life, then disappear from the face of the earth.

Yes, I'm perfectly normal. This was born from studying serial killers in sociology class and a fascination with vigilante groups real and fantastic.
Yes, I realize that people would be on the lookout after finding the DNA a few times, that's the point. If I were a serial killer I would be doing it for the thrill, and surely the increased security would make it more exciting.
Ok, I'll use piano wire to garrote my victims instead of guitar strings. Thanks for the tip!
To all the "How will you get the president's DNA? They protect that shit (literally haha)." questions, simple, who's to stop me from shaking his hand? I think I could get enough to plant some and scare people.
