Today I am going to talk about senioritis. Yeah, sure, every high school senior tends to start relaxing a little bit, and they should! After three years of extreme determination and hard work, senior year should be a bit of a relaxed period. It's when level 5 of senioritis hits that things start to get bad. Level 5 of senioritis includes not caring about school or your friends at ALL. You just want to get out of high school and move on with your life already. This is when it gets bad, and let me tell you why. One, some colleges may ask for a mid year or final grade report. Why would you want to risk not getting into your dream school just because of senior year when all your other year criteria meets for admission? Two, graduation. If your senioritis is so bad that you see that you are failing all your classes, you need to bring yourself up. You can't officially leave high school until you graduate. And Three, yes college calls for awesome times and amazing new people, but don't forget about the old ones. Senioritis tends to drive childhood friends apart since someone is always getting irritated with the other thinking that their new college friends will be so much cooler. Reality check, you will see your high school friends again. Not only in the summer before college, but throughout even your college years and all the breaks you get then. Don't let level 5 senioritis happen to you. Pick yourself up and Be strong.
