In the 1890's, Bill & Henry, are mushers, who are carrying their dead friend across the snow in the Yukon Territory of Canada. They come across a ferocious pack of wolves. One of them was Kiche, a wild wolf-dog who has puppies. She gives the surviving puppy to her owner, an Indian named Gray Beaver. He names the pup White Fang because it had white fangs. Later, an ugly man named Beauty Smith wanted White Fang. He gets Gray Beaver drunk. He wants to turn White Fang into a fighting dog. He beats up the wolf-dog after every fight he has.Beauty Smith becomes rich from the bets he makes on White Fang. White Fang becomes well known as a prized fighting wolf- dog across the Yukon. In one fight, White Fang was losing to a bulldog. Then, one man named ,Weedon Scott, jumped into the ring with his friend to stop them. He forced Beauty Smith to sell the almost dead, White Fang to him. So, Weedon Scott becomes White Fang's owner for life. White Fang learned to trust, to be loyal and protective of him and his family. He was no longer a wild wolf-dog. White Fang becomes a loving pet.
