For the first time in a long while, there are actually some great movies being released in theaters around the country in the summer of 2021. Many people have been waiting for the release of the Fantastic Four, The Hitman, The Witch, and Transformers 4 to come out in order to get the full effect of what's in store for them in this next franchise. However, many people also enjoy the trailers and clips for these movies that they can watch on the Internet prior to seeing the actual movie for themselves. Some of these video streaming services allow movie goers to watch a trailer or clip of a potential new movie, so they can decide whether or not they wish to check out the new release. Here are a few movies that are set to debut in the summer of 2021.

The Spy Who Dumped Me will be directed by none other than Matt Damon. The original Spyglass character was played by Damon in the Damon vehicle Collateral. He is replacing Angelina Jolie as the lead role in this new spy thriller. The reviews have been good for both Damon and Jolie, and they plan to do a more serious and tense scene focusing on their characters in the upcoming film. It is expected to be another blockbuster for Universal Studios.

Another potential big name in the new movies is Inglourious Basterds. The action-adventure movie will be directed by Quentin Tarantino. It is written and produced by Robert Rodriguez and has a cast that includes Christoph Waltz, Donny Yen, and Jennifer Aniston. This could be a good movie to see just before the release of the new movie. Both Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and Transformers 4 are expected to do very well at the box office when they hit the theaters in the fall of 2021.

Another potential big name in the new movie releases is Warcraft. No one really knows much about this new movie, other than it will star Michael Fassbender as a part of the cast. People should know though that filming is currently taking place in London.

Spiderman is another very popular new installment of a very popular franchise. It is expected to be a huge hit with many people, although few are expecting the same kind of ratings that people gave the original Spiderman movie four years ago. Tom Holland will also play Spiderman in the new movie.

Two other movies that are making their way into the list of the best new movies on streaming services are The Informant! starring Matt Damon, and World War Z. The first film in this three part series won several awards at the 2021 Academy Awards and has a strong cast that includes Anne Hathaway, Damon and coconuts co-stars. World War Z is based on the book series of the same name and is set to premiere on March 31st. As long as these two movies perform well, they could very well join the ranks of the best new movies on streaming services.
