BIBLE PASSAGE - Psalms 33:1
- We should have an attitude of joy at all times because we are living in the Lord and not the flesh. Therefore, we should be grateful for what God has done for us and should not forget those things when challenges come our way.
- The righteous people should rejoice in the Lord.
- "...praise is comely for the upright." (From our Bible passage for today)
- "...surrendering your life to Jesus does not completely spare you of challenges" and won't make you immune to unpleasant situations.
- Salvation puts you ahead of the devil and his gimmicks, it also gives you a direct access to God anytime and this should be the basis of your joy.
- Happiness and joy are not the same thing.
- Happiness is as a result of good things happening to or around you, but joy comes from the fact that God has got your back both in good and bad times.
- Jeremiah 29:11
- "My child, believe that God is behind the scenes working in your favour."
- Let NOTHING steal your joy.
