Are Online Poker Sites Fair Or Rigged?

The online poker sites would have you believe that their software is fair for all players. In fact many of the online poker sites, including poker news edition, publish an monthly report stating the statistical odds on every game at their site. However, is the software really fair?

In a word, no.

Why is there never a single instance where one of the players at a poker site has won all the money in a tournament, or been the winner of a single cash game? How can a poker site's software be rigged for one person to win all the time? There are too many outside factors that influence a poker game, some of which may include the players themselves.

One example of how people can affect the outcome of a game is a psychological reason. A player may be very confident playing tournament games, and therefore play more conservative in cash games. In a land based casino this could result in getting a cold table courtesy of the casino. In online poker, the player has no such outside factors and, in some cases, the opposite could occur.

For example, an ego based player may get angry and start playing loose because of a bad beat. He gets more aggressive and loses more money to the casino. The reverse could also occur, a player who is very cocky and tight could start winning all the money and end up losing it all to the casino. Sometimes บาคาร่าออนไลน์, may be trying to get Mike Caro to reverse a bad beat. These are all reasons why it is impossible to certain the outcome of a poker game.

The one thing that you can be sure of is that the poker sites are not rigging the games for you or your opponents. They have taken a lot of time and effort to make sure that the games are fair for everyone and that the betting follows the statistically correct situations. They want the games to be fair for everyone, so that the poker players who are smart and have a working knowledge of the game can make money from playing on the sites.

The problem for the poker player is that most players don't know how to play the game. They play tournaments and inevitably get very aggressive with poor hands. Some players tighten up their play in cash games to make money and never take the chance to play any other form of poker. At the end of the day poker is poker and in the end the ego based player always loses. The only true way to win is to play the book, but understand that book play takes a lot of time to master. The ego based player often sees money as the only goal and will often get impatient and frustrated with the slow pace of the game.

Conspells and superstitious movements are also common in poker and they have no place in a live or online game. The speed of the game, theIAS, is more important than the speed of play. Consequences of fast or slow play are much different than betting patterns. Slow play is not necessarily bad. Unless it is to show off your playing skill, you have nothing to gain by showing off after a triumph.

Let's say you call a bet, the flop comes 5♥ 6♦ 9♣. You have nothing, but still you bet, someone else bets, and the turn comes out a 2. You check, and your opponent bets. What is the best option here? I have been in this situation many times and here the best option is to flat call. Here you have done all the thinking and have it out of your system. Unless you have a very good reason to be confident that you can win this hand, just check. If you check, you don't get to play the hand any differently. If you are wrong, that is just the way the hand goes. If you called the bet, well, that is just the way you want it to be. Either way, you win.

There are many players that prefer to bet or raise looking for a bluff. That is not a legitimate expression. Those moves are oftentimes executed by those who know their hands are untouchable and they are not representing any position of strength. Just because you choose to play your cards differently than how others play theirs, doesn't mean you can't win. Your selection of cards has no consequence on the outcome of the game. It does mean that if your cards are bad, you will lose more often than others.

Poker is not the same all over as it is in other card games. When playing, it is in essence a game of psychology, of how you make others feel in the game. Directing aickle toward your cards is not the way to go. You want to make the others feel a certain way toward wanting to get rid of you than wanting to get a good hand.
