Ocean Day: Celebrated on the 3rd Monday of July every year to celebrate the ocean and what it brings to them. They would give thanks to the ocean because we are an island and a lot of our resources come from the ocean.

Language: We will be speaking Japanese because we are in Japan. Our president and other important people will be able to speak the languages of the countries that we trade with. To make communication easier. Also, the traders will be taught different languages such English, Spanish, French, Rice, and Chinese.

The Military: The citizens in our military will be over the age of 16 and will be the first born child of every family. Each person would have to serve for at least six months and every six months we would exchange out the people in the military.

Name: Purpose: Izanagi was the first male Japanese god and his wife Izanami was the first female god. They were both the base of Japanese mythology. They were also believed to have created the island of Japan. Based off of this, we decided to have our name be a mix of the two.

Location: Our location is in Japan. We chose this because there are a lot of places relatively close to it that we could trade with or become an ally with. Also, the economy is really good over there and money wouldn’t be as big of an issue. It is also inland, so water wouldn’t be as big of a problem.

Government: Our government is going to be a democracy. We chose this because it is in favor of the people. It would reduce the amount of fights that occur and we feel like it would pretty much run the smoothest. There wouldn’t be too many assassinations of important people because the citizens are the important people. Also, the people would get a say in who leads the state.
