natsu looked the mission board up and down. happy flew happily at his shoulder and pointed out a mission. "natsu.. look! this one pays so well, we'll be eating nonstop for weeks!" the pink haired boy studied the slip of paper. suddendly he looked up. " shit!" he exclaimed, pointing to where it said, in big letters, EXPERIENCED FIRE AND ICE WIZARDS BOTH REQUIRED. "where the hell are we gonna find an ice wizard?" then he heard a voice behind him. "seriously, are you a certified dumbass, or is it genetic?" Natsu turned around."Who are you calling a dumbass, grey!" he said angrily. grey just shrugged. "so, you need help with this mission, huh?" happy cut in before natsu could say no. "yes-yes, grey-sama" happy said, fluttering over to grey. grey shrugged again. "cool. Get your stuff, we meet in an hour to leave." Lucy walked into the guild hall, and greeted ezra with "Hey." ezra looked up and smiled at her. "whats up?" she asked. lucy got to the point. "Where are natsu and grey?" "havent seen them all morning, but I heard they got a big mission." Erza replied.lucy was puzzled. Natsu and Grey? working together? that didnt make any sense... lucy made a mental note to ask them about it later, but now, she had heard a rumor about a rare key for sale at the market.. better go check it out, she thought to herself, and put natsu and grey out of her mind. meanwhile At the train station, grey was waiting for natsu. "Uggh where is flame Breath. hes 30 minutes late already!" grey complained as he glanced at his watch. hearing someone use a nickname only natsu called him, grey looked up to see the cheery salamander heading towards him. he felt his heart flutter a bit. no, wait.. that must be disgust he was feeling.. no way it was anything else.. "hey pervy popsicle!" Natsu shouted. "whatever let's just get on the train..." Grey said, still consious of the weird feeling in his stomach. half an hour later, grey was asleep with his shirt off in the train compartment, and natsu caught himself looking idly at the blue/black haired boys' chest. His feeling's distracted him from the motion sickness so much that he didnt realize they were even moving. it was time to admit it, he thought to himself, and turned to happy. "pst.. hey, happy," he whispered, looking at his blue cat buddy. "hmm? what is it, natsu?" the cat responded, looking at natsu with his big eyes. natsu took a deep breath, and blurted "happy..um, i like grey, ok?" "oh, thats all? god, natsu, ive known about your feelings for grey-sama for weeks! why do you think i invited him on the mission?" natsu stared at happy. "how the hell did you find out? who told you??" happy looked at natsu like he was an idiot. "dont be so baka. We're best friends! no one had to tell me, i just knew-" grey moved and murmured in his sleep, and the two that were awake froze mid-conversation. "lets pick this up later." said natsu, partly cause he didnt want grey to hear it, and partly cause he just realized they were on a moving train, and he needed to find a bathroom quickly.
