28년 역사를 자랑하고 김치 제조의 ‘맏형’을 자부하는 진안 부귀농협(조합장 김영배)이 온·오프라인 동시 개최한

‘진안고원마이산김치축제’(이하 김치축제)가 지난 15일 성황리에 마무리 됐다.


온라인 김장체험 챌린지’에는 참가신청자가 무려 180여 명에 육박하는 관심을 보였으며, 김장김치를 담그는 영상을 개인의 사회관계망 서비스(SNS)에 올려 부귀농협 김치를 홍보하는 효과를 유발하기도 했다.


진안군이 후원하고 부귀농협이 주최·주관한 이번 축제는 지난 12일부터 3일 동안 온·오프라인에서 동시 진행됐다.

온라인에서는 김치담그기 동영상 올리기, 완제품 김치 인터넷 주문 할인판매, 오프라인에서는 절임배추, 양념, 완제품 김치

등에 대한 ‘드라이브 스루’ 할인판매 행사가 열렸다.


또한 ‘마이산김치 마스터클래스’ 프로그램은 안명자 김치명인과 임종금 마이산김치공장장이 함께해 맛있는 김치 담그는 방법과 마이산김치의 맛의 비결을 공개하는 영상으로, 일교차가 큰 진안고원에서 자라난 고품질 배추와 고추, 감칠맛을 내기 위한 표고버섯과 새우젓 등 100% 우리 농산물로 정성 들여 만들어낸 양념으로 담그는 명품 마이산김치를 소개하며, 맛있는 김치를 담그는 비법까지 담아냈다.


행사 중 주목받은 프로그램으로는 홈페이지로 신청한 전국의 50가족들에게 선착순 ‘김장체험 꾸러미’(절임배추10kg, 양념4kg)를 공짜로 보내주고 김장체험 후기를 공유하는 ‘온라인 김장체험 챌린지’였다.


농협하나로유통이 오는 15일부터 21일까지 전국 2,300여개 하나로마트와 온라인쇼핑몰 농협몰 내 e-하나로마트에서 절임배추 및 김치류 할인행사를 실시한다고 밝혔다.


이번 행사는 소비자들이 농협 아름찬 배추김치 등 다양한 종류의 김치를 저렴한 가격에 만나볼 수 있고, 절임배추는 행사카드(NH, KB, 삼성, 씨티, 전북)로 결제 시에 박스당 2,000원 할인혜택을 받을 수 있다.


농협의 절임배추는 강원 대관령, 전남 해남, 경기, 경북 서안동 등 배추 주산지에서 정성껏 계약 재배한 국내산 배추를 HACCP(식품위해요소중점관리기준) 인증을 획득한 농협 김치가공시설에서 직접 생산, 소비자가 안심하고 구매할 수 있는 것이 특징이다.


김병수 하나로유통 대표이사는 “국내산 원재료로 김치를 손쉽게 준비할 수 있도록 이번 행사를 준비했다”면서 “농업인의 노력으로 생산한 신선하고 안전한 우리 농산물로 든든한 식탁 위 반찬을 준비하시길 바란다”고 전했다.


이 중 배추 도매가격은 이날 기준 10kg당 2만6200원으로 1년 전 10kg 9240원에 비해 183.5% 올랐다. 무 20kg 가격은 2만7160원으로, 지난해보다 2배 이상 급등했다. 여름 김치의 주재료인 열무 가격도 1년 전보다 34.5%, 1개월 전 대비 50% 올랐다.


코로나19로 인해 줄어든 김치 수입량도 김치 대란에 가세했다. 관세청 수출입 무역통계에 따르면, 지난 7월 김치 수입량은 2만2681t으로 지난해 같은 기간과 비교했을 때 2561t 줄었다.
