___
Weight data from build
Go through 3502 documentation, looking for gauging that was carried out initially, gauging strategy. Under that it will list route availability (weight allowance)
Weight data

These are the weight changes and CofG changes, what is the change
Wheel loads, bogie dynamics, braking performance

SNCL-SN0207717-L001-Issue 3. Ask for this in a scope for gauging assessment

Fleet tech library > 3502 > TRM > Submissions:
Looking for route availability/compatibility/technical compatibility assessment

Crush laden mass: 6 people per m^2
Strength laden weight: Tare + staff + 100%
___
Today:
UPLOAD INDIVIDUAL PLAN BEFORE MONDAY
Gauging assessment scope
Vehicle dynamics scope

Flooring 1/B - Complete
Tables 1/A - Complete, First class tables will have mobile phone charging points installed, not sure on Power ratings.
Seating 1/A - Option 1: Just replace the seats. Option 2: New seats with power sockets. Consult previous ones and make a decision
PRM -
RIS2700 Approval 1/B - Check 350/1 interior refresh folder for RIS doc

Highlight everything in blue that has changed since 1/A

Look at the 360/1 scopes and work from them (esp interior refresh scope) (we don't need to write one, as we are doing this inhouse, but it gives us an idea of the work to do)
Look at 350/1 interior refresh folder (the one with the 350/1 RIS doc)

RIS scope: add new standards as said by AH

PRM Scope: We have to ask them to do the assessment, check the human factors scope example document

Option 1: Basic refresh seat covers, cushions, repainting grab poles, new carpet flooring, new interior decal
Option 2: Above + Seat layout change

Seats scope -
Option 1:
Option 2: new seats but must fit in existing seats mounting dimensions

___
Overall EC: On the basis of the interior work for interiors, we are in the position to where we can do that ourselves
For the interior refresh we can write it ourselves based on DG8 docs supplied previously

Overall EC STILL REQUIRED Eng hours assessment and risks docs etc but we don't need to get any work done by suppliers.
___
380 Master Controller:
For EC - Although in the cond assessment report, the snap action switches didn't cause any functional issues. Gessmann suggest to replace based on mechanical, pollution and electrical. Unlikely based on this recommendation that the next 1.6M miles can go without failure. We don't have scope to NOT change the switches.

- Maybe add VMI to appendix? JKP801, JKX802

Today -
- Phone Andrej on friday after 12 pm
- Ask for access to the 3 programs - CREO, PDMLink (Windchill) and Ansys
- CREO and ANSYS - Go to myIT and ask to be added to licence servers
- Email both placement review forms to Graeme (Before growth talk)
___
26th - 30th: Master Controller
2nd - 6th: Interior Stuff - PRM scope and Approvals Scope and any other small scope (seating scope or flooring scope or table scope)
9th - 13th: CCTV and Overall EC
16th - 20th: Interiors (Overall Concept Design)

Timesheet (week 30):
Monday - 380 master controller OH (4h)
Tuesday - 380 master controller OH (4-5h)
Wednesday - 380 master controller OH (4-5h) + C350/2 Mods CCTV - 2h
Thursday - 380 master controller OH (4-5h)
Friday - 380 Master controller OH (4h)

Timesheet (week 31):
Monday - 380 master controller OH (3h)
Tuesday - 350/2 Interior (4-5h)
Wednesday - 350/2 Interior (4-5h)
Thursday - 350/2 Interior (4-5h)
Friday - 380 Master controller OH (4h) & 350/2 Interior (4h)
___
C350/2 LSER Interior:
- Write a scope for PRM (write from scratch)
- Write a RIS2700 approvals scope
- Create a Concept document (look at 360/1 for LED lighting, PIS for this doc)
- Chase up all TI numbers (for mass)
- Produce scopes: 1. Dynamic vehicle movements scope, 2. Gauging assessment scope (SNC-L, D-Gage, Balfour Beatty) and 3. Suspension scope modification

PRM scope: Use as a template a human factors (or structural assessment)

Write a brief overview of what's happening to a unit in the above scope

Option 1: Basic refresh seat covers cushions, repainting grab poles, new carpet flooring, new interior decal
Option 2: Seat layout change

Overview: Add in ALL remaining changes (note what is optional): (THIS COULD BE IN INTERIOR WORK)
- A2: need a cost for weigh well to come in and do the pre-weigh
- Look at a unit, look at the layout changes being proposed, come up with a ballpark figure of the change in mass per vehicle
- A5: LED lighting will not be a part of this scope, will be a part of another scope

1. PRM will be just based on the small changes
2. Full PRM of unit with all changes
___
Usual steps:
Procurement Sourcing Form (2 page, 4 sections) 1. Procurement, 2. Engineering, 3. Materials, 4. Commercial.

(Alan Staley call:
2. VMI change?
3. Create EC which will introduce the COI/COIL and include the updated VMI?

- 4-6 units completed, but remainder needs completed

JKL010: PBC - COIL
Contract between Siemens and Gessmann: SRS/SCM/208

Procurement sourcing form is needed, for every new overhaul
Phone Ed Beele, upcoming overhaul with Gessmann, what do I do next?

Find out who on behalf of Gessmann is doing the overhaul.
Ask them what should be done.
Ideally we want them to give us an entire COI

Need a component overhaul summary instruction

BOM needs to be agreed

JKE08002 Overhaul Instruction (360/2)
Email Billy Menmuir, to generate a new stock code for new parts if needed
TI10412 Consider recommendations from deans 1.27m mile condition assessment report

6 units already overhauled

Florian Kraft: +49 7131 4067 934

Get a summary scope
They (Gessmann) develop Overhaul summary scope
Write the COIL and refer to the OSS

ME: Develop requirements
Due for overhaul, what would Gessmann recommend as part of the OH

CCTV WORK:
Look at APC TI folder for 360s TI 9238, these docs will tell me what to create for CCTV? Upgrade Plan

Old (failed) scotrail bid: CCTV 350/2 TI 10237
Saloon CCTV + Forward facing to be installed

Existing spec includes supplier coming in to integrate the design, change the spec to system supply only.
There will be a 1st party integration design

Remove pantograph camera from final diagram (Proposed Structure)
Remove all mention of Thermal cameras and pantograph cameras

Phone Sharief to ask for a 185 CCTV High Level Concept, also check for a CCTV scope before phoning (hopefully) - from 3 years ago

Limits the switching

Still an ongoing issue with the sleep mode on the units. Inhibited the bodyside heaters, because of an ACU fault
Still an existing request outstanding SAG
