무더위가 기승을 부리는 날씨에도 자인면지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 직접재료를 손질하고 정성과 사랑의 양념을 더 하여 맛있는 열무 물김치와 배추겉절이를 담가 저소득 취약계층 가구를 직접 방문하여 전달하고 안부를 확인하였다.





이영임위원장은 “위원들이 정성을 다해 맛있게 담근 여름 김치를드시고 무더위에 지친 입맛이 돌아오고 여름을 건강하게 이겨낼 수 있는 요긴한 반찬이 되길 바란다.”라고 말했다.





최순환 자인면장은 “무더위로 지치고 힘든 날씨에 농번기로 바쁘실 텐데 열 일 제쳐두고 직접 발로 뛰시는 협의체 위원님의 따뜻한 마음에 늘 감사드리며, 손수 담근 시원하고 아삭한 여름 김치 전달로 저소득 취약계층에게 무더위와 외로움을 이기는 큰 힘이 되었으면 좋겠다.”라고 전했다.

축제 기간뿐만 아니라 축제 기간 이후에도 온라인에서 많은 분들과 소통하고자 하는 김치축제의 의지를 담아 특별히 제작한 프로그램으로 많은 관심을 보였다.


코로나19 확산 영향으로 여느 흔한 드라이브스루 행사장처럼 발길이 뜸 할 줄 알았던 예상과 달리 진안군 부귀면 마이산김치공장에서 개최됐음에도 하루 종일 꾸준하게 방문 차량이 있을 정도로 호응이 좋았다.


행사 중 주목받은 프로그램으로는 홈페이지로 신청한 전국의 50가족들에게 선착순 ‘김장체험 꾸러미’(절임배추10kg, 양념4kg)를 공짜로 보내주고 김장체험 후기를 공유하는 ‘온라인 김장체험 챌린지’였다.


진안군이 후원하고 부귀농협이 주최·주관한 이번 축제는 지난 12일부터 3일 동안 온·오프라인에서 동시 진행됐다.

온라인에서는 김치담그기 동영상 올리기, 완제품 김치 인터넷 주문 할인판매, 오프라인에서는 절임배추, 양념, 완제품 김치

등에 대한 ‘드라이브 스루’ 할인판매 행사가 열렸다.


페이스북에 김치 담그는 영상을 올린 한모씨는 “보내준 절임배추와 양념으로 김치를 담가 여럿이 맛있게 나눠먹었다”며 소개하기도 했다.


포천시 영북면지역사회보장협의체는 지난 17일 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 국가유공자분들에게 여름 배추김치 로 고마운 마음을 전달했다.


영북면지역사회보장협의체는 매년 열무김치, 알타리김치 등 김봉일 위원장이 직접 재배한 재료를 이용한 김치나눔사업을 추진하고 있다.


올해는 특별히 호국보훈의 달을 맞아 나라를 위해 희생한 국가유공자분들에게 고마운 마음을 김치로 전달하게 됐다.


김봉일 위원장은 “국가를 위해 희생한 유공자를 위해 뜻을 모아 의미있는 행사를 마련했다”며 “국가유공자 어르신들이 코로나19를 극복하고 건강하게 지내실 수 있도록 더욱 관심을 가지겠다”고 전했다.


윤숭재 영북면장은 “특별한 달을 맞아 국가유공자 어르신을 위한 여름김치를 만들어 주신 영북면지역사회보장협의체에 진심으로 감사드린다 지역을 위한 끊임없는 고민이 이러한 지역복지사업 추진에 원동력이 됐다고 본다”며 감사의 마음을 표했다.

업계에서는 코로나바이러스 감염증(코로나19) 사태로 국내 소비자들의 김치 수요가 크게 늘어난 게 품절의 주요 원인이라고 지적했다. 전통적으로 여름철은 포장 김치의 성수기다. 특히 올여름엔 코로나19로 해외를 나가지 못한 데다, 사회적 거리두기로 집에 머무는 시간이 길어지면서 수요가 급증했다. 대상의 '종가집 김치'의 경우 올해 7월 누적 매출액이 전년 동기 대비 20% 성장했고, 같은 기간 온라인 매출액은 전년 동기 50% 늘었다.
