‘한국 김치’라는 인증 제도가 생기면 외국뿐만 아니라 국내에서도 원산지에 대한 신뢰를 높이는 효과가 있을 전망이다. 최근 국립농산물품질관리원(농관원)은 올 상반기 원산지를 거짓으로 표시하거나 표시하지 않은 업체 1771곳을 적발했다고 밝혔다. 이 가운데 가장 많은 적발 사례가 배추김치(420건)였다.
