So an improper fraction would be like 6/5 and that is showing that if you want to turn that improper fraction to a mixed number you would have to see how many times the denominator (the bottom number) goes into the numerator (the top number). Now with the improper fraction of 6/5 5 would go in to 6 only once so you would put a 1 then if there is any remainder then you would put the remainder as the numerator (the top number) and put the 5 as the denominator (the bottom number) you would always put the denominator (the bottom number) of the improper fraction as the denominator(the bottom number) and the remainder as the numerator (the top number). A like fraction is a fraction that is equal or equivalent to another fraction for instance 3/6 is equal or equivalent to 1/2 because if you divide 3/6 you would get 1/2 but only if you divided 3/6 by 3 you would then get 1/2. An unlike fraction is a fraction that is not equal or equivalent to another fraction like 4/5 and 7/9 are both unlike fractions to each other because they are not equivalent to or equal to each other.
Dear Diary, So above this dairy entry you would see a little bit about unlike, like, improper, and mixed numbers/ fractions the only reason I wrote that was because I was bored and I was hoping somebody would come and see what I am writing about and nobody has except fro when Suzy- (Did I mention that I am at Suzy and Bobs house? Well I am so on with the story) came over here and asked if I wanted to say grace at dinner time and I was about to say no but then I asked what is Michael doing and Suzy said he would only say grace if I said grace to so of course I said sure I will say grace but I was wondering what grace we would be saying because there are a few types of prayers you could say and luckily Suzy knew the one I knew so I guess we are gonna say that prayer during grace. Thank goodness people finally left the basement but I don't know why and for a moment I went into a room still being built and all looking for a sheet of paper with a number passcode on it how hard could it be? Actually really hard I haven't found the sheet of paper yet and I AM A REALLY GOOD FINDER! Well this is just nice my brother keeps on criticizing my pronunciation of the prayer I am going to do at grace so this is just perfect. I am so sad now because I have to wait 365 more days until next Christmas and I waited a long time for this Christmas to come around TOO! But I will be fine (NOT) Christmas means a lot to me I get to how Santa Claus knows me and all that good stuff. Even though I didn't get to see my Elf on the Shelf (his name is Mikey) and I didn't get to talk to somebody at the north pole on the North Pole communicator so all the good stuff ( GONE )! Anyways I am now wondering what else I should write (type) about. I just saw a preview of "Into the Woods" and I can't wait to see the movie. Well .....................BYEZ!
