무더위가 기승을 부리는 날씨에도 자인면지역사회보장협의체 위원들이 직접재료를 손질하고 정성과 사랑의 양념을 더 하여 맛있는 열무 물김치와 배추겉절이를 담가 저소득 취약계층 가구를 직접 방문하여 전달하고 안부를 확인하였다.





이영임위원장은 “위원들이 정성을 다해 맛있게 담근 여름 김치를드시고 무더위에 지친 입맛이 돌아오고 여름을 건강하게 이겨낼 수 있는 요긴한 반찬이 되길 바란다.”라고 말했다.





최순환 자인면장은 “무더위로 지치고 힘든 날씨에 농번기로 바쁘실 텐데 열 일 제쳐두고 직접 발로 뛰시는 협의체 위원님의 따뜻한 마음에 늘 감사드리며, 손수 담근 시원하고 아삭한 여름 김치 전달로 저소득 취약계층에게 무더위와 외로움을 이기는 큰 힘이 되었으면 좋겠다.”라고 전했다.

CJ제일제당 관계자는 전문 수급지가 있는 회사들도 수급에 차질을 빚고 있는 만큼 소규모 업체들의 상황은 더욱 어려울 것이라고 했다.

김치 재료값은 최근 급등했다. 농수산물유통공사에 따르면, 배추 1포기 소매가격은 한 달전 5753원에서 현재 9348원으로 배(倍) 가까이로 뛰었다. 그러자 김치를 직접 담그지 않고, 포장김치를 구매하려는 이들이 크게 늘었다. 대상은 평소 월 2000톤이던 횡성공장 김치 생산량을 지난달에는 4000톤으로 늘렸다. 하지만 김치 업체들은 작황이 나쁜 배추·열무 등을 산지에서 제때 공급받는데 어려움을 겪고 있다. 한 김치업체 관계자는 “예년에도 이 맘때는 김치 재료 수급이 불안정한데, 올해는 심한 편”이라며 “코로나로 중국에서 김치 수입도 원활하지 않아, 포장김치 값도 오늘 가능성이 있다”고 말했다.


인천시 남동구가 브랜드와 레시피를 개발해 만든 ‘소래찬’ 김치가 6월 출시될 전망이다.





구는 14일 농업회사법인(주) 우리김치, 명가식품, 생생찬, 일미식품, 정우식품 등 지역 식품제조가공업체 5곳과 소래찬 김치 생산·유통을 위한 업무 협약을 체결했다.





이번 협약은 구 김치 공동 브랜드인 소래찬 상표 사용과 새로 개발한 레시피 제공 등을 위해 마련됐다.





앞서 구는 대국민 명칭 공모와 BI 연구 용역을 통해 김치 공동 브랜드 소래찬을 공개하고, 새 레시피 개발 및 생산·유통 준비에 주력해 왔다.





협약에 따라 참여 업체는 2년 간 소래찬 상표와 레시피를 사용해 배추김치, 백김치, 나박김치를 생산·유통할 수 있다.





생산 업체는 소래찬 상표에 대한 이미지와 소비자 신뢰를 높일 수 있도록 최고의 품질 수준을 유지해야 한다.





특히 구는 해당 제품에 대해 공인품질검사기관의 품질검사를 받도록 요구할 수 있고, 검사 결과 부적합하거나 법 위반 시 김치 제조 및 상표 사용을 중지할 수 있다.





또 최고의 맛을 꾸준히 유지할 수 있도록 정당한 사유 없이 원재료 원산지나 구입 방법을 변경할 수 없도록 했다.
