Mass calcs Plan (Sections):
- Original CofG (Weigh Sheets)
- Delta mass (how it was all calculated), 2+2 and 2+3 sheets
- Delta CofG
x- Modifications installed Mass & CofG (including list of TI's) (not too bad)
- Tare mass & CofG
x- Crush Calcs
x- Crush CofG
- Crush Mass & CofG summary sheet

Upload Timesheet
Close TI and TQ for NIR work
__
Graeme meeting notes:
- Overall EC (Masses, braking and gauging): Need a document that clearly states (concept design) what are all the other mods are doing
- May not be necessary as we are getting compliance for this within the interior EC using DG8 docs (Hand calculated).
Gauging assessment supplier scope (checking our work) and updating the gauging portfolio (extension to that scope).
___
All work:

Mass & Weight Interior work -
1. Complete assessment for change in masses and centre of gravity location.
2. Quick pre bid assessment scope to go to SNC Lavalin, to include braking, vehicle dynamics, route availability due to the change in mass and centre of gravity. - "Gauging Assessment Scope"
3. Masses, braking, vehicle dynamics, route availability and update to the gauging portfolio - "Vehicle Dynamics Scope"

CCTV - Notes from Sharief call below

Overall EC - Explain to Graeme that the Engineering scope for this, mass and weight work done as part of Interiors.
- Eng hours assessment
- Risk doc
- Roles and Responsibilities
Overall EC: STILL REQUIRED Eng hours assessment and risks docs etc but we don't need to get any work done by suppliers (no scopes?).

Interiors - High level concept (Discuss with AH on/after 17th)

- 380 Master Controller
Get Graeme to sign, then send to procurement

- C350/2 LED Lighting
Optional, do if all other work is completed
___
Dave call:
- Mass work (calcs)
Make the big spreadsheet PERFECT
Check every formula etc
Add all references

- Mass work scope (write as 1 massive scope, with 2 sections)

Section 1. Pre bid assessment scope for SNC-L:
Change in tare and change in crush mass for each vehicle, change in CofG in each vehicle. As a minimum we want them to look at effect on braking, vehicle dynamics/gauging, change to route availability and anything else SNC-L identify

Section 2. Work to be done post mod (write as 1):
1. Pre-assessment bit, 2. Feeds into post-assessment.
We have been asked for a bid for 3502, this is the work we have done.

Assess and see if there is a change, if there is changes then do the work and provide calculations with verification.
If route availability needs changed, provide a price to change the gauging portfolio.

Update the new RIS-2773-RST with the change is mass and CofG, and updating the gauging portfolio.

Core: Gauging portfolio is a requirement from GMRT 2173, document that defined how big the train is, RIS-2773-RST is the standard that determines what goes in the gauging portfolio

Route availability TI10573-012: Tells me what is to be assessed against for scope 1 (RA).
1. What is to be changed for scope 2 (RA).
2. write a section based on this doc (Only RA part)
__
Weight data from build
Go through 3502 documentation, looking for gauging that was carried out initially, gauging strategy. Under that it will list route availability (weight allowance)
Weight data

These are the weight changes and CofG changes, what is the change
Wheel loads, bogie dynamics, braking performance

Fleet tech library > 3502 > TRM > Submissions:
Looking for route availability/compatibility/technical compatibility assessment

Crush laden mass: 6 people per m^2
Strength laden weight: Tare + staff + 100%
___
Today:
- Gauging assessment scope & Vehicle dynamics scope (1 scope)

PRM Assessment 1/B - Do I need to remove sockets from the core section of PRM asessment?
RIS2700 Approval 1/B - Do I need to remove sockets from the core section of approvals?
Core interior refresh doesn't need a SCOPE for power sockets done

Look at the 360/1 scopes and work from them (esp interior refresh scope) (we don't need to write one, as we are doing this inhouse, but it gives us an idea of the work to do)
___
Overall EC: On the basis of the interior work for interiors, we are in the position to where we can do that ourselves
For the interior refresh we can write it ourselves based on DG8 docs supplied previously. Graeme still wants a HL concept doc

Overall EC: STILL REQUIRED DOCS:
- Eng hours assessment
- Risks docs etc
- Don't need to get any work done by suppliers (no scopes?).
___
Ask AH:
- Ask for access to the 3 programs - CREO, PDMLink (Windchill) and Ansys
- CREO and ANSYS - Go to myIT and ask to be added to licence servers
Send to Graeme before 1 to 1/growth talk/PMP:
- Email both placement review forms to Graeme (Before growth talk)
___
26th - 30th: Master Controller
2nd - 6th: Interior Stuff - PRM scope and Approvals Scope and any other small scope (seating scope or flooring scope or table scope)
9th - 13th: CCTV and Overall EC
16th - 20th: Interiors (Overall Concept Design)
___
C350/2 LSER Interior:
- Create a Concept document (look at 360/1 for LED lighting, PIS for this doc)
- Chase up all TI numbers (for mass)
- Produce scopes: 1. Dynamic vehicle movements scope, 2. Gauging assessment scope (SNC-L, D-Gage, Balfour Beatty) and 3. Suspension scope modification

Risks: (THIS COULD BE IN INTERIOR WORK, NOT Overall EC)

- A2: need a cost for weigh well to come in and do the pre-weigh
- Look at a unit, look at the layout changes being proposed, come up with a ballpark figure of the change in mass per vehicle
- A5: LED lighting will not be a part of this scope, will be a part of another scope
___
380 Master Controller EC:
Reasoning for replacing switches (Risk?): Although in the cond assessment report, the snap action switches didn't cause any functional issues. Gessmann suggest to replace based on mechanical, pollution and electrical. Unlikely based on this recommendation that the next 1.6M miles can go without failure. We don't have scope to NOT change the switches.
Risk: What to overhaul. Completed a 1.27m miles condition assessment & report and considered recommendations from it TI10412
- Update VMI's as necessary: JKP801, JKX802

Usual steps:
Procurement Sourcing Form (2 page, 4 sections) 1. Procurement, 2. Engineering, 3. Materials, 4. Commercial.

- VMI change?
- Create EC which will introduce the COI/COIL and include the updated VMI?

- 4-6 units completed, but remainder needs completed

JKL010: PBC - COIL
Contract between Siemens and Gessmann: SRS/SCM/208

Procurement sourcing form is needed, for every new overhaul

BOM needs to be agreed

JKE08002 Overhaul Instruction (360/2)
Email Billy Menmuir, to generate a new stock code for new parts if needed
6 units already overhauled
Florian Kraft: +49 7131 4067 934

Get a summary scope
They (Gessmann) develop Overhaul summary scope
Write the COIL and refer to the OSS
____________________________________________
CCTV WORK:
Can phone Ashley for more info if needed. Seek 185 Remote condition monitoring (RCM) for eng hours etc - EC done

Global PSS solution to be done. Either with Im or with Germany. Get Sharief to help. List the different highlighted mods in green.

Cameras to be IP based, need x number of switches on the base (might already be captured)

SR2014: remove "shall accept DHCP Option 82"
SR2018: remove last sentence about live remote viewing

"MVR can package and compress the images, and can interface with siemens COM@RL." Maybe do this

High level scope:
Leave in 5.3 Ethernet, 5.4 MCOM, 5.5 PIS.
5.4 "Live and recorded video"
5.5 "to allow for passenger alarm location to enable high resolution recording in that area"

6.2.2 Cameras expected to fit in currently installed locations

6.3 Expected that the CCTV cameras will connect to the NVR

This solution is reliant on a private ethernet backbone capable
The private backbone is expected to be minimum 1 gbit speed

Cameras will utilise to private ethernet network to send the image/videos to NVR/DVR.
NVR/DVR will utilise the PIS alarm system via the same ethernet backbone.
Finally NVR will use the backbone to connect to the MCOM to send images shore based COM@RL server.

7. RAMS, copy in the MCOM data thing A680 - not at this stage
- Anything that refers to MCOM, "please see Ethernet backbone documentation"
- Saloon CCTV, Forward Facing CCTV, DVR: "This will be compiled based on chosen supplier at a later date."

Add in hours to do the resource for RAMS & LCC summary report.
PSR for MCOM software. 0.25h
PSR for COM@RL setup. 0.25h

Digital video recorder, look up on druid for cabinet number (e.g. +123)

Look at APC TI folder for 360s TI 9238, these docs will tell me what to create for CCTV? Upgrade Plan

Old (failed) Scotrail bid: CCTV 350/2 TI 10237
Saloon CCTV + Forward facing to be installed (Remove Thermal and Pantograph camera mentions)

Existing spec includes supplier coming in to integrate the design, change the spec to system supply only.
There will be a 1st party integration design
