Today we are celebrating the 75th Independence Day of our country. Long back, in 1947 we got our independence. We now know that we are living in this independent India only because of the struggle of our freedom fighters.It is important that we should remember each one of them today.
We are celebrating Independence Day as a national festival.Independence Day is observed throughout India with flag hoisting ceremonies, parades, and lots of cultural events.We hoist our national flag on this day. Everybody sings the national anthem.
On this day we should take an oath that we will always be with our motherland till our last breath.
