Ripple Invests on Artists Mintable, a Non-Financial Marketplace.


Ripple invested $13 million in Mintable to help fund Mintable's NFT marketplace. Just last week on July 2, 2021, it was announced that several investors would be funding Mintable with a value of $13 million! Mintable allows people to transform their work into non-fungible coins (NFT) that permit users to incorporate their content into the Ethereum Blockchain. It is therefore tradeable and payable with Ethereum.

Animoca Brands Metapurse and Doug Band are the other investors in this $13 million round. Doug Band is a prominent name in finance, having served as a consultant to former president Bill Clinton as well as Shutterstock founder Jon Oringer. blockchain stock claimed that NFTs have reached the masses due to the fact that technology is maturing, and the industry rapidly evolves. The CEO also noted that this was a critical corporate achievement for Mintable and that investors share the same conviction in the many benefits that NFTs provide to consumers of all ages. Burks also iterated that, "As the technology continues to mature and the space rapidly evolves, this is a critical company milestone for Mintable and we are thankful for the support from our investors who hold the same shared belief of the many opportunities that NFTs can bring among mainstream users."


You may not know the meaning of NFTs. However, they are data, but have something unique in them. They are not stored in a device or in a physical medium and is instead stored within a digital ledger, known as the Blockchain. NFTs, in contrast to normal data, are distinct since they are only available in the blockchain. Blockchains are similar to a recording album and is the place where cryptocurrency is created. NFTs are licensed, copied, or otherwise associated with digital assets. NFT is a rising popular choice due to its ability to gather content and art, while also making it accessible. It has been used for digital art as well as other items of art. Mintable took advantage of this and developed a highly successful website that is highly regarded by large investors.
