Bir eksik var bendimde,
Uzar, uzaklardadır hedefim
Olmadı, olmamalıydı benim de
Mezar taşım; bir sevda dileğim...
Yalnız bir gecenin gereğidir,
Işıldar parlak bir gün.
Ayrılan ayla güneşin zevkidir,
Yalnız bir gecede kavuşmak bir gün.
Yükselirken ışığın kayboluyor gökyüzü,
Gökyüzü kaybolurken halim eriyen bir mum gibi.
Sulara yansıyınca sağlam oluyor perişan,
Ruhumu çekiyor nefesin, içim yanıyor aynı şekilde
Kirpiklerindeki sihire erebilir mi Kâbil kadar Hâbil?
Gözlerinden saçılan büyüye var mıdır karşılık?
Saçlarından süzülen nur kadar pak yüzün,
Nedendir? ne sebepten kaderin hüzün?
Gözlerini dikti, baktı o an bana.
"Nerdesin? sensiz hüzünlüyüm!"
Gülerek yaklaşıp, dokundum dudağına,
"Yakındır kavuşmak, ne olur? biraz sabır!"
Yakındı kavuşmak, fakat yalnız öbür dünyada.
Öldükten sonra, bir pınarın başında,
Türkmen obasında, Gökçen'in suyundan,
İşitip sözlerini, sarhoş olarak dudağından.
