Although I don't have any information about your family, or the place you live, I’m sure you were born during an era like mine. I grew up in rural areas with no clubs. My 20th birthday was the first time I went out in the club. I can recall doing too many lowers and uppers to remember. But, my friends told them they had a fantastic night. I was new to club life, and it was like a baptism. It was a frenzied experience. It wasn't to the trappings of this life and the way things went at night.. In the course of a few years I went in clubs from one to the next. Did you know the song, "Who's Going to Give Me a Ride to the Aftershow?" I was able to get out from the club in the early daylight just to jump into a car and drive to a different person's house.
We were lively, full of life, and filled with youthful enthusiasm. On some days, we didn’t sleep at night. We left the last BOO party one morning and went to Central Park to walk around.. I remember covering myself with antiperspirant, from head to toes and then rubbing my forehead, sweating my forehead for hours, just the forehead.. We came across Alice in Wonderland an expose of copper statues, we went through the crowd and did not find them again, although we spent in the following months going to Central Park to find these figures or statues and other artifacts, but without success, they were gone for good.. Only that wonderful summer morning they showed their rusty side to us.
The video from that night was saved for all time by my friends. To my great surprise, the video was deleted. Also, there was an event sound recording that was claimed to be by a certain label. It also works with your smartphone. I just have to send the URL of the video to 2conv. It will then download the video to my phone. It was way too late to reach the 5 year old member of our group. However, it was an enjoyable conversation.
