Scott Fujita was born in Ventura, California on April 28th, 1979. He was an outstanding participant in 3 sports (football basketball track and field, and basketball) at Rio Mesa High School in Oxnard, CA before heading to the University of California, Berkeley. In Berkeley, Fujita earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in political Science with a degree awarded in 2001. Fujita graduated in the top score. Fujita played for three seasons with the Chiefs under the guidance of head Coach Dick Vermeil, and led the team in tackles from 2002 and the 2004 season. Fujita was transferred to the Dallas Cowboys before the start of the 2005 season, in which he was the coach for Bill Parcells.

A free-agent with no restrictions during the off-season of 2006. Fujita became a member of the New Orleans Saints, reuniting with his former coaches Joe Vitt and Sean Payton. Outside of court, Fujita dedicates a lot of his time to his community as well as a number of charitable organisations. Fujita is adamant of the natural world, specifically the protection and restoration of the Gulf South. He also is a proponent of the equality of LGBT people. He also promotes equality of rights for LGBT people. He also advocates for equal rights for the LGBT community, and supports programs for adoption, and is a tireless advocate for breast cancer awareness, as the mother of his son is a twice a female breast cancer survivor. In his profession, Fujita has also worked with various organizations that help in uplifting and enriching the families of children suffering from cancer or other ailments.

Fujita is a member of the NFLPA Executive Committee as a Vice President since the year 2010. He also sits on the Board of Directors for Team Gleason, which seeks to improve the lives of patients living with ALS and ultimately find solutions to stop this terrible disease.

On the 22nd of April 2013, Fujita was signed on a one-day contract with the New Orleans Saints and announced his retirement after 11 years of service in the NFL at the top of Machu Picchu in Peru. Machu Picchu.

In his search of ways to transition from NFL linebacker to life after playing, Scott assembled a team to help him achieve his post-NFL career goals.
