As you cannot rely on WiFi when you are at the top of a mountain, I ensure my kids are prepared for travel when they are with me.

Yes, it was me.. My kids are terrible at this. They believe that the wifi on the top of the mountain isn't very good. Even though it's not huge, the hill is not in the normal range of cell networks. My kids have to walk around looking for better internet connectivity while my wife and I set up the camping spots in small areas. We're hoping to stay for at most a day. The tiny brook is right next to us and is a source of water for our camp. Yes, that too.. My wife is unable to camp without a good supply of water that is fresh and we carry our fresh water all the time.

As my kids continue to update their profiles on social media I'm enjoying the views. The hill isn't too big, it's surrounded by more massive ones. Each now and then we venture out to the hills to connect with nature. These trips are among my favorites, and I'm the only one who loves these excursions. It's my wife that insists of doing this, maybe partly because she know the pleasure I get from being out here, in the wilderness. My children are completely different. Internet is often unavailable. A magnetic motion or any other event can result in a temporary interruption of the streaming music. It could last for up to a minute or so, before the audio is restored. This is really annoying even to me, cause I tend to hear it all happen..
We decided to prepare after having a few gruelling trips without internet, where the normal internet service on our phones was not working as it should. We, i.e. my wife and me, had prepared for the scenario when our children don't be connected to the internet for longer than 10 minutes. We came up with two entertainment options that can be utilized even when the Internet isn't accessible on camping trips. One was a tablet with music videos and the top songs. Our favorite Youtube MP3 tool was able to help us extract songs and convert them into MP3 files before downloading to the tablet. It works with playlists, too making it a quick process even though it's quite lengthy. If someone was uninspired or down it was still possible to listen to music and view videos. It's also good news for us all, sounds can be heard via Bluetooth-connected headphones. What do you think? This item produces no sound.

The second tablet consisted of animated cartoons and TV shows we downloaded through Hulu as well as Netflix. It is also possible to download the content offline to enjoy future watching. This isn't the top quality, but it is what it is. There are many seasons of Breaking Bad, as well as many cartoons like Family Guy or Disenchantment. Very entertaining. The process was simple. Simply install the apps and then enable downloads for offline watching, download episodes, and mark them to download. Tablet 2 arrived just a couple of days after tablet 1. It's much easier to have video on the tablet for when you're working and don't need to wait around for video to stream.
These two tricks have kept our children entertained during four camping outings. My kids aren't afraid of going out because they know that tablet 2 will be there to help with boring time. They also plan to bring it home with them when they're at their best. I've never felt happier. I love being with my family.
