My personal story is not an epic one... I was born, then went to school and worked, fought and finally, achieved something online. It also has some difficult moments when I thought that it was all over. One of those instances was when my computer at home became unresponsive. However, after a little tweaking and moving my old hard drive to the new one and installing a new desktop, I was able restore all the work that was stored on the drive. It took me 3 days to be a mess and cry... but I did learn a thing. Dropbox and my personal ftp server can be able to backup automatically and manually my day's work to ensure that it's never lost.
This is not the most ideal solution. The more data you store in your online storage capacity, the more you have to spend to protect it. It's simple and appears to be quite safe. It's also easy to access and is able to be downloaded from any place with internet connectivity. But what happens if you aren't connected to internet? I like keeping my laptop close to me during those times. It serves as my last line of defense against loss of data. They are connected as a RAID stack to ensure that they duplicate each other and ensure that only one copy remains in case one of the HDDs is damaged. Because I rarely copy my laptop's contents my laptop, I've made it so that two drives aren't disconnected at once.
Another day of great sadness occurred a few months ago. I am very careful not to lose all of my work, as I said earlier, I now copy it multiple times and have access to it from anywhere internet access is available. It was Periscope. It was a tool I frequently used a several years ago. Even in summer, when there were disturbances in the city, I was able stream a few live streams. Then Periscope TV is closing down and all the videos will be gone in a few weeks. What do I do now? I'd like to have all the videos to be downloaded so that they can be stored off-line on my laptop. Those videos are very important for me. I was there with my friend when he vanished from the radar of Covid. It seems like it took him.
It's a site I use to download video clips from Youtube, Instagram, Facebook as well as other websites. I'm interested in politics and underground movements. I also take a lot of videos of live events and save them for future usage. I then publish some to my YouTube channel and save it onto my computer. This is how I do it. This allows me cross-post videos to multiple platforms. Not only can I share YouTube videos on Facebook and Twitter, but I can also upload that video directly onto Facebook. It's its own video. In the end, I have over 3TB of live streams I've made in the last eight years. Periscope will not disappear.. save youtube audio It truly helps me.
It's like an angel. After I have viewed the video I want, I copy its URL via the sharing link. Then I go to the video downloading site to copy the URL, then press the button. In just a few minutes, I am presented with a variety of options to download video. Periscope isn't available on every site.
If you're not familiar with that, Windows uses the copy command to help combine these fragments and make a standard 1 long video file. It is caused by the video format Mpeg TS (or transport stream) used for the video fragments. Each fragment has all the data necessary for video decoding. This allows every streamer to stream seamlessly starting from the middle. It helps save browser data as well. Instead of downloading a file lasting 1 hour, it downloads 360 x 10 second files. If you are only watching for 25 seconds, your player downloads only 3-4 pieces. The current 25-second segment gets 3-4 fragments. This lets you save lots of data by downloading just 25 seconds of stream video.
