well as my own perspective i thought that there are many important points for written communication to a customer that are as.
Firstly we have to write the issue as an attentive. customer can seen its firslty.
Secondly we have to communicate politely with customer.
customer can easily finds if he has a issue, it should be more properly in a way that a customer can get easily. for example customer can see the price of a brand that will be visible for him so he can easily look at.
The brand of the thing will be more visible for a customer.
2. A customer has been following up for 3 days and is abusive as his refund is due for 10 days. Please write a mail pacifying the customer as the refund will take more 5 days to be processed.
