Let me tell you my story from my most recent Arctic cruise. It sounded incredible, National Geographic trip through the ice, and back with Polar bears as well as other wildlife. It's easy to download them and then convert into mp3 and save them on my laptop. After that I could simply lay in my bed listening to all the things I enjoy at home, but I never had the time. It would have been my golden hour or 2 weeks of gold, but it ended up being 2 weeks of gazing at the ceiling and running to greet passengers every when a sound is heard in the corridors..

The ice was too thick, which I knew could be the problem eventually and the boat was forced to turn around and pull back to the civilization. While this isn't a surprise this meant that a lot of hours could have been spent listening and watching DIY videos, podcasts about home fixes or simply enjoying music. The next time I'll convert Youtube videos into MP4 and mp3 on my laptop, then bring them with me and enjoy my most-loved songs from my laptop. No need to be down, music will always lift your spirits. Remember that Hulu and Netflix apps allow you to download shows and movies for you to watch offline. These can also be brought to the long arctic trip. Don't let boredom get you down. Have fun!
