My son and I go on trips with our kids. We can't always rely on Wi-Fi on top of the mountain so we have to make our own at home.

It was true.. My children think the WiFi high in the mountains isn't very strong. It's just a tiny hill. It's just above the typical network range. Therefore, my children have to go around searching for better internet options while my wife and I set up a small camp. We are planning to stay for a few days, there's a small brook near by, with fresh water that we own. Yes.. My wife is unable to camp without sufficient water. We have our own water most often.
As my kids continue to update their social media profiles I'm enjoying the views. Although the hill is small but it's situated in the middle of bigger ones. At times, we make it out to the hills to connect with Mother Nature. Although I do not initiate these trips, I do find them very enjoyable. My wife is the one who insists of taking me out, partly because she know the pleasure I get from being in the wilderness. But my children, - they're a different story totally. Internet can be down at times. The interruption of streaming music could be because of something happening in the clouds, or even magnetic movements. This can be a bit annoying for me as I typically get to hear it all.

After a few excursions that were not connected to the internet access and our regular internet was constantly dropping in and out of use we determined to prepare. My wife and I made a decision to be prepared for the eventuality that our kids, our children won't have internet access for more than 10 mins. We came up with two sources of never-ending entertainment even when Internet is not accessible during our camping excursions. One of them was a tablet that contained music videos and top songs. Our most-loved Youtube mp3 converter helped us extract songs from videos then convert them to an MP3 files and then download them to the tablet. It was also able to use playlists, which means it was quite fast, even though it sounds awful. If someone were feeling blue or bored, they could listen to music, watch videos, and, lucky for us all, listen to music with blue tooth connected headphones. This is a fantastic idea, doesn't it? This device does not make any sound.
The second tablet was mainly TV shows and cartoons we have downloaded through Hulu or Netflix. This isn't the top quality, but it is what it is. There are many seasons of Breaking Bad, as well as a variety of cartoons such as Family Guy or Disenchantment. It's a lot of fun. Also, it was easy. All you needed to do was download the apps and enable downloading for offline viewing. After downloading episodes, mark them as available for download, and then put them away. Tablet 2 came a few trips after tablet 1, but it was there when we finally arrived at The Wild. My kids could not stop watching shows. I also added some DIY videos there, for example, making the tent up and skinning freshly caught salmon. Things that you wouldn't normally do in cities. The videos were downloaded from Youtube and converted to MP4 then downloaded to my tablet. It's more convenient to have videos on your tablet at all times.
These two tricks keep my children entertained during the last 4 family camping trips. Even though they don't like going outside anymore They know that their tablet 2, keeps them entertained when they are bored. They will also take it home as soon as they are done. I've never felt happier. It's truly all I'm looking for, being close to my loved ones.
