Topbite 2: Top Cliff Strikes
It is a vicious world out there, indeed, and that is precisely what made the original Topbite so much fun to play. The company has managed to retain the same gameplay as its best offering, and given that only three games have been released, that is very good progress. Having said that, even that hasn't been enough. The new fourth iteration, Topbite 2, has managed to fix almost all of the problems that the original trilogy left behind, but that was also its weakness, especially obviously since it was made in such a short time. It would've been so much better if they had delayed it and created a new standalone release, but that isn't something that I have any control over.

Even still, it's nice to see that they have made progress. Right from the jump in game play, which is much better than the first game, you can see that this is a much better game than the first. There is a sense of enjoyment throughout the campaign as you leap between vehicles and buildings with barely any regard to what you are actually doing, except for the straight thrills of blowing things up.

Of course, the main attraction is the control. The previous game's controls were badly hamstrung by a tightly implemented reloading system, and this has been improved upon greatly. There's a new cover system that is both critical to making you defenseless should you be spotted, but at the same timeproviding enough counter-strike variety to still be a blast.

There are some fun rides on the motor bike, and while Topbite 2 doesn't always nail the perfectly rendered look of motor bikes, there's enough here to keep you occupied.

As with the single player, the multi-player is more of the same. The cycling and running elements remain, but the vehicles are either greatly simplified or have been given enough fuel by the developers to fulfill their purpose.Hints and Tips:Although it seems like a good idea, practice makes perfect.Repetition, a crucial element in good FPS multi-player, rarely comes into play here. Instead, the AI takes over and the rounds can drag on. Because of game download , you may find yourself dying over and over again when you could simply be shooting the other tankers around for a little more of a fun.

There are some nice twists that the developers have done to the damage system. Instead of getting 20% more damage from killing an enemy, you now only get 10% more. This carries through to the accessories and weapons you use as well. For game download , youonly get300% more damage from an explosive weapon, but it takes300% more to pull off a skilled blow. Because it doesn't make a big difference, you constantly find yourself feeling overpowered. This is also a minor complaint, but it does make you want play through the nightmare mode again just to see if you can blow up a few more cars.

All in all, it's still a mediocre FPS, but with the promise of two expansion packs and the addition of a co-op mode, it's become an instantly locked and loaded game. Probably the most owed sequel in the series since Dead Space, it's a reminder that the best (or worse) things about the series can be found away from the game's polished production values.
