Starcraft 2 - Guide to Microing
Among the many factors that helped me strengthen my strategy while playing Starcraft 2 was understanding how to micro with high efficiency. It means efficiently using your units so that their combined cost to damage the enemy is much less than the cost of each unit individually. Although the term microing maymbase with the concept of microing, what we are really talking about is efficiently using each unit to its fullest potential.

Many of the terms used to describe this effective microing are actually rather monotonous and easily defined states. But as I started to see how important each one was, I had to go a little longer in explaining exactly how it was possible to micro with such efficiency. And, yes, I did spend a lot of time practicing my hotkey usage.

Here's what I learned.

Terran Micro AbilitiesBy understanding what each and every Terran unit is able to do, understanding how they function in relation to one another, I'm sure that you're able to get a good idea of how microing a Terran force can be like.

Terran Units Confuse With A Terran OpponentProbably the most confusing thing for a newbie to notice after playing Terran is that their terminology and command structure is somewhat different from the other races.

Not only does Terran have different types of units, each one of them have certain abilities that the rival race uses. Terran buildings also have different functions and should be understood as such.

For example, a Terran building doesn't actually produce units, it contains a number of abilities. The building itself cannot produce any units, but if it contains the right type of workers, it can start a mission that will give the player a slight edge over the enemy.

The following list of Terran buildingautomatically updates every building according to the type of building it is suppose to construct.

The Terran Scan- This can reveal any type of cloaked units in the enemy base, but it will cost the Terran 9 life.

The Terran Army- Used to destroy enemy workers, the Terran marine can attack the enemy building i.e. the mineral line.

rov apk - The Terran marine hides inside the shield and can be trained to attack.

The Terran Mithril Shield- Even stronger than the Terran marine is the Terran rune marine. Can attack both air and ground units.

The Terran robotsThese are upgraded versions of the marines. They attack slower and cost more life. rov apk are great for a hit and run gaming tactic.

Terrans can build require a Warpgate to be researched before it can be constructed. Upon its completion, each building produces a prisoner unless it's a building which is turning off or is at full health. So look out for rushes with this unit!

Some of the buildings can only be built if you have a certain number of workers already working in that particular building.

For example, If you need 3 workers to build a garage, to be able to build the garage; 2 workers are needed. If you have 2 more workers than that to build workers for the garage, then you'll need to add one more worker.
