Børn med mørk hudfarve er ikke i øget risiko for hyperbilirubinæmi, men skal vurderes med TcB eller TsB
senest 48-72 timer, da det er vanskelligt at vurdere ikterus ved disse børn.
Risikofaktorer udvikling af behandlingskrævende ikterus:
Ikterus første 24 timer
Tidligere barn med behandlingskrævende ikterus
GA under 38 uger
Østasiatisk herkomst
Børn af mødre med diabetes (1, 2 og gesta)
På alle ovenfør: måles kutan bilirubin senest 48-72 timer efter fødsel
