Soccer is different. You don't just pick a play out of a book and run it. Sure, there are certain things that you plan in advanced before game time or during halftime, but there is no set way of playing the game. Of course the first piece of equipment you will want to consider is the soccer ball. After all, without a soccer ball there will be no soccer game. Your soccer ball should be a size that is appropriate to your age. For children under the age of 8 you will want to use a size 3 ball. For ages 8 to 12 you will need a size 4 ball. Anybody over the age of 12 will be ready for a size 5 ball. Getting the appropriate size ball is a very important factor in determining the success of your game.
