Hypatia was the world's first female librarian, and the last librarian in the Royal Library of Alexandra. She was also a Greek mathematition, astronomer, and philosopher in Egypt. Hypatia was Theon Alexandricus, the famous greek mathematition's, daughter so she became very smart under his teaching. She was the first female to ever submit knowledge into mathamatics, and the first female teacher, and the first female philosopher. She would go out into the streets and talk about planets and theorys, and crowds would form to listen. Hypatia took care of the Library of Alexandra, and added much knowledge to the famous building of scrolls. One of her students, Synesium, became a bishop and said she was the reason for his sucess. In 391 AD. the library of Alexandra burned, and all the scrolls in it were lost. Hypatia was devasted but continued to teach at the Neoplatonic School in Alexandra. She became the head of the school, and even more sucessful then before. She died years later in 415 AD, but she was remembered by some and should be given much more credit. Hypatia did something many woman would not dare to do back then, she learned, and actually used her knowledge for the better.
